KSI’s Manager Taunts Jake Paul’s Championship Dreams with USA Boxing Trans-Inclusion – Joselyn Paul Mentioned

Jake Paul found himself as the target of Mams Taylor’s joke in response to USA Boxing’s new transgender policy. The revised rule book for 2024 states that natal male boxers who transition to female may be eligible to compete in the female divisions, provided certain conditions are met. YouTuber-turned-professional-boxer Jake Paul has been making significant progress in boxing, with the goal of attaining not only commercial success but also the title of world champion boxer.

The 26-year-old has been caught up in a fierce rivalry with British influencer-turned-boxer KSI, whose manager Mams Taylor has frequently engaged in verbal altercations with the younger Paul brother. Taylor took a swipe at Paul while commenting on a post by boxing journalist Michael Benson about USA Boxing’s transgender policy, suggesting that ‘The Problem Child’ could become the boxing champion if he underwent gender reassignment surgery and competed against female boxers. Taylor wrote, “I want to apologize and retract my doubt in Jake Paul’s dreams to become world champion. It’s very possible now, You got this Joselyn Paul!!!”

Both Paul and KSI have been challenging each other to a fight since 2018-2019, but a match has yet to take place. In August 2022, KSI proposed a ‘winner takes all’ mega-fight at Wembley Stadium between the two. However, bouts against high-profile opponents such as Tommy Fury and Nate Diaz have kept both competitors busy.

Mams Taylor also accused Jake Paul of contributing to Showtime Boxing’s decline. Following KSI’s highly anticipated fight against Tommy Fury in October, media reports claimed that the event sold over 1.3 million pay-per-views. Despite this, Jake Paul insisted that the numbers were exaggerated and that the event was successful only because his brother Logan co-headlined the fight card. In response, Taylor asserted that Jake Paul’s inability to sell tickets resulted in Showtime Boxing’s downfall, stating, “First of all you and Tommy did 550k Globally (most from UK). Secondly, you and Nate barely did 350k. Thirdly, you guys put Showtime in $16M of debt and contributed to their downfall because you demanded crazy undeserved upfront fees, and ppv’s tanked. Fourthly, we did more than 700k but nice try. What else?”
