In the lead-up to UFC 297, middleweight champion Sean Strickland issued a threat to his opponent, Dricus du Plessis. Strickland was deeply upset when du Plessis brought up his traumatic childhood during a press conference last year, leading to a brawl between the two at UFC 296. Strickland recently uploaded a video to his YouTube channel, warning du Plessis not to mention his past again or he would “stab” him, potentially causing their fight to be canceled.
