Undefeated UFC Star Slams Floyd Mayweather’s 50-0 Boxing Record, Calls Him “POS”

UFC flyweight contender Muhammad Mokaev recently took to social media to criticize boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. Mokaev uploaded a photo of Mayweather’s signature ‘The Money Team’ cap, which featured the Star of David, a part of the Israeli flag. Mokaev, also known as ‘The Punisher,’ has expressed his opposition to Israel amidst the ongoing conflict with Palestine and did not appreciate Mayweather’s choice of clothing.

The 23-year-old fighter went on to question Mayweather’s boxing record and made disparaging remarks about him, stating, “You can be 50-0, but if you’re POS then no one cares about your records!” Mayweather’s illustrious boxing career spanned over two decades, during which he maintained a perfect 50-0 record. He faced and defeated several notable opponents, such as Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, and Conor McGregor.

Muhammad Mokaev began his professional MMA career in August 2020 and has since amassed an impressive 11-0 record. Out of his 11 victories, five have been in the UFC, with four of them being stoppages. Even at the age of 46, Floyd Mayweather remains active in the boxing scene, participating in exhibition bouts. He is expected to face John Gotti III in a rematch next, with the event tentatively planned for February 2024 in Las Vegas during Superbowl weekend.

In their first encounter, which took place in June last year at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, the match ended in controversy. The referee halted the six-round contest due to excessive trash talking between the two fighters. Gotti proceeded to hit Mayweather, leading to an all-out brawl inside the ring.

As for Mokaev, his next UFC fight is already scheduled. The 23-year-old will face off against Alex Perez in a flyweight showdown at the UFC Fight Night card on March 2. The event will take place in Saudi Arabia.
