LeBron James couldn’t resist poking fun at Mike Conley for being a longtime NBA Sportsmanship Award winner this week. During a recent appearance on Old Man & The Three, Utah Jazz standout Lauri Markkanen was asked if Mike Conley was the nicest guy he’s ever been around. Markkanen agreed, considering that Conley has won four Sportsmanship Awards during his career.
The entertaining and humorous clip was posted on Mike Conley’s @Mac11 Instagram account with the caption “Good Guys Finish First episode two.” The video features Conley discussing his impressive track record of good sportsmanship and being a fine teammate.
Conley then compared his accomplishments to legendary players like Michael Jordan and Bill Russell, who have multiple championship rings under their belt. However, he proudly points out that no one can match his awards for sportsmanship.
