Steve Avila is a 6’4″, 330-pound senior who was initially ranked just outside the top-1000 overall recruits in 2018. After redshirting his first year on campus, he saw action in 11 games in his second year at Texas Christian University (TCU). As a redshirt sophomore, Avila started in all nine games, playing in three different positions: center, right tackle, and right guard. In 2021, he moved to left guard and was a second-team All-Big 12 selection. He continued to improve and was named a second-team All-American in 2021, during TCU’s miraculous run to a national championship.
