Caroline Wozniacki recently celebrated her husband, ex-NBA player David Lee’s 41st birthday with a heartfelt message recognizing his special bond with their children Olivia and James. The couple, together since 2017, married in a luxurious ceremony in Tuscany and welcomed their daughter Olivia in June 2021 and son James in October 2022. Wozniacki took to Instagram to praise Lee as the “best” husband and father and shared pictures of him with their children.
The couple recently visited Wozniacki’s home country of Denmark after she experienced an early exit from the 2024 Madrid Open. Despite her defeat, Wozniacki enjoyed a family visit to ‘Bakken,’ the world’s oldest amusement park, and shared the “special” day with her followers on social media.
During the 2024 Indian Wells Open, Wozniacki was asked how she and her husband would fare against each other in their respective sports. She amusingly admitted that she was “terrible” at basketball and doubted that either of them would fare well in the other’s sport. Wozniacki’s performance at Indian Wells ended in the quarterfinals due to a toe injury, and her run at the Miami Open was also brief. Following these tournaments, she began her clay court season at the Charleston Open, which ended in a second-round loss. It remains to be seen where the former World No. 1 will compete ahead of the French Open.
