She spent some time at The Cooking Clubhouse, learning to make tapas and a mushroom dish. Later, she shared a photo of herself in a fashionable grey dress and black boots on Instagram, captioning the post, “Pov: im ur dinner date.”
Clervie Ngounoue jokingly offered to pay for the dinner date, and Danielle Collins responded by referring to her as Gauff’s “sugar mama.” Gauff appreciated the lighthearted exchange, replying with laughing emojis. Candi, Codey, Badosa, and Collins also praised her stylish outfit, with Badosa even calling her “sexy.”
Gauff recently applauded Collins’ handling of a heckler during a match at the 2024 Madrid Open. Collins had responded strongly to a disrespectful member of the audience, and Gauff expressed her admiration for her compatriot’s assertiveness. Both Collins and Gauff were ultimately eliminated from the Madrid Open, with Collins losing to defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in the fourth round.
