F1 Ace Carlos Sainz Joins Novak Djokovic & Jannik Sinner at Monte-Carlo, Witnessing Italian’s Thrilling Opening Match

Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz was present at the Monte-Carlo Masters in Monaco, where he met with tennis players Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner. Sainz also attended Sinner’s second-round match against Sebastian Korda. Sainz has had an impressive start to the Formula One season, securing top-3 finishes in all three of his races to date, including a win at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

During Sinner’s match, Sainz was seen using his phone, prompting the Tennis Channel to jokingly speculate if he was texting team principals or fellow F1 driver Lando Norris. Besides Sainz, other F1 drivers like George Russell also attended the Monte-Carlo Masters.

In a 2023 conversation with Ferrari, Sinner shared his love for Formula 1, stating that his father introduced him to the sport, and he used to watch races with his grandfather. He also expressed his admiration for the Ferrari team and their historical impact on the sport. Sinner emerged victorious in his match against Korda, and he now has a 2-1 head-to-head lead against the American player.

Next, Sinner will face Jan-Lennard Struff in the third round of the Monte-Carlo Masters. Sinner has had a fantastic 2024 season, winning 23 out of 24 matches and securing three titles, including the Australian Open and the Miami Open.
