The movie “Challengers” starring Zendaya has been a hit in the US, but tennis fans have been particularly captivated by her presence at several tennis events. She has even met Iga Swiatek, the winner of the Indian Wells competition.
In a recent interview with Eurosport, Zendaya was asked to compare the lives of a tennis player and an actress. She expressed her admiration for Swiatek and the pressure she faces on the court in front of large crowds, noting that it must be incredibly difficult to maintain focus and composure.
Zendaya said she and Swiatek have similarities in their respective careers, despite the difference in their worlds. Both understand what it takes to perform at a high level in front of a global audience.
The two stars met and posed for photos at Indian Wells, where Swiatek emerged as the women’s singles champion after defeating Maria Sakkari. Since then, Swiatek has participated in the Miami Open and Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, and is currently playing at the Madrid Open as top seed.
