Despite not being the only player to defeat each member of the Big Three, Kyrgios’ victories are more surprising due to his often nonchalant approach to the sport. He attributes these wins to his unprofessionalism, which many believe is the reason for his inconsistent success.
Kyrgios recalled his unexpected win against Nadal at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships, saying that it gave him the belief to challenge the top players. He holds a superior head-to-head record against Djokovic but trails both Federer and Nadal. In their last full match at the 2022 BNP Paribas Open, Nadal emerged as the winner.
