Belair’s sheer strength and athleticism have played a significant role in her success.
Belair’s Record-Breaking Title Reign
The EST of WWE won the RAW Women’s Title on Night Two of WrestleMania 38 and has since main-evented WrestleMania multiple times. On March 15, 2023, her title reign exceeded MVP’s 343 days as United States Champion, making her the longest-reigning African American singles champion in WWE history. Currently, at 380 days, she is just 19 days away from breaking Becky Lynch’s record for the longest-reigning Women’s Champion in modern-day WWE.
Potential Showdown at WWE Backlash
Interestingly, Belair will tie Lynch’s record of 398 days during WWE Backlash on May 6. The event in Puerto Rico might feature a fight between Belair and Damage CTRL’s Iyo Sky, with the stakes being higher than ever. It would be surreal to witness Bianca unleashing herself on Sky to achieve a historic feat.
Goals Yet to Be Achieved
On a side note, although Belair has defeated Charlotte Flair twice in the past, both her victories came from disqualification scenarios. A clear win over Flair is still missing from her title reign, and the upcoming Draft might offer an opportune moment for initiating an intense feud between the two at the Night of Champions.
