Ex-champion reflects on Trish Stratus meeting 20 years ago with one lingering regret

Former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim expressed regret about not having a match with Trish Stratus in their prime. Trish Stratus is considered one of the greatest female WWE Superstars of all time, and although she and Kim fought in 2003, Stratus retired in 2006 before Kim reached the pinnacle of her career.

Gail Kim recently responded to a fan on Twitter who said they wished to see her face Trish Stratus one more time. She admitted to wanting to work with Trish when they were both in their prime, since she was “green” when they had matches. Kim stated that they did face off, but it wasn’t in their prime.

Despite being 47 years old, Trish Stratus has proven she can still perform in the ring, having had a good match against Becky Lynch and even defeating The Man at Night of Champions with help from Zoey Stark. According to reports, Stratus is set to make regular appearances on RAW going forward, embarking on a compelling storyline with Stark.

It is expected to be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark, and how their feud against Becky Lynch will develop in the coming weeks. Fans are eager to see Stratus and Kim face off one more time in a possible future match.
