John Cena’s advice to Austin Theory
In a conversation on Notsam Wrestling, Cena recounted how he privately told Austin that his current WWE character isn’t working. He mentioned that fans can see through the inauthenticity of a character if the person doesn’t fully believe in it. He then stated that he told the young wrestler this information before bringing it up in front of a live audience:

John Cena, now 46 years old, has only participated in two singles matches since 2021. His commitment to Hollywood has taken precedence over his desire to compete in a WWE ring, making it uncertain whether he will return to the sport in a major capacity anytime soon.

Over his career, Cena has faced numerous top wrestling superstars, such as Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Triple H, and Batista. However, veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter expressed his desire to see Cena face off against The Rock one more time, believing it would be an epic confrontation. Cena and The Rock have fought at WrestleMania 28 in 2012 and again a year later at the same event, resulting in each wrestler winning one match.
