Shaul Guerrero immediately confirmed that the incident on the cruise, where Sherilyn was sexually assaulted by her stepfather, was true. She also mentioned that the assault created a deeper wedge within their already tumultuous family. Although Sherilyn claimed that the family had abandoned her, Shaul insisted that they went to therapy and received financial help from Vickie Guerrero and Kris, Sherilyn’s stepfather.
Shaul talks about the abuse she suffered from Sherilyn
Shaul Guerrero also discussed her relationship with Sherilyn and how it had soured over the years. She recounted an incident where she suffered verbal and emotional abuse from Sherilyn while trying to help her after surgery. The abuse was so intense that it caused Shaul to leave the house and later experience panic attacks.
Willing to heal but only with therapy
Shaul stated that both she and Vickie Guerrero have offered to go to therapy with Sherilyn in order to work out their issues. However, until Sherilyn agrees to meet with a therapist, Shaul says they will continue to heal separately. She concluded by expressing her sadness over having to deal with the issues publicly and wishing healing for her sister.
