Wrestling veteran notices potential error in Cody Rhodes’ WWE Night of Champions appearance

Wrestling veteran Jim Cornette believes WWE may have made a mistake with the cast Cody Rhodes wore at Night of Champions. Ahead of the event, Brock Lesnar broke Cody Rhodes’ arm, resulting in a storyline injury. Despite the injury, WWE announced that Rhodes would compete against Lesnar in Saudi Arabia wearing a supposed titanium cast.

Cornette questions the titanium cast

In the latest episode of his The Experience podcast, Cornette pointed out that WWE seemingly made a mistake with Rhodes’ cast, as it did not look like it was made of titanium. He questioned the appearance of the cast, noting that it looked like a regular black sports brace with buckles and white tape, rather than titanium or plaster.

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions

Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar at Backlash in Puerto Rico earlier this month. The two superstars squared off again at Night of Champions, where Rhodes used his cast as a weapon on Lesnar but ultimately failed to defeat him.

Open challenge for a third match

Last Monday Night RAW, Rhodes issued an open challenge to Lesnar for their third match. With a victory over Lesnar and a victory by Lesnar, Rhodes hopes to settle the score in an upcoming match.
