Edge’s DNA test reveals his Viking roots
On a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, Edge was asked if he had Scandinavian origin, to which the former WWE Champion shared that he had taken a DNA test to uncover his roots. The results showed a migratory path from the Fennoscandia region, through the Scottish Orkney Isles, Ireland, and Iceland before ultimately reaching Canada.
Edge’s bloodline connects him to the warrior tribe
Although Edge may not live like a Viking, his lineage connects him to the legendary warrior tribe whose prowess and influence stretched across parts of Europe and beyond.

Beyond his success in the wrestling world, Edge, or Adam Copeland, is also a known actor who played the role of Kjetill in the historical drama TV series Vikings. He first appeared in the show’s fifth season before reprising his role in the final season, portraying a character that closely resembled the unhinged persona he frequently took on in WWE TV. Currently, Edge is working in WWE and was drafted to WWE SmackDown during the 2023 Draft, which has opened new opportunities and fresh storylines for The Rated-R Superstar.
