WWE RAW: Brock Lesnar’s encounter with 37-year-old star almost four years ago

Brock Lesnar, one of the most decorated performers in WWE history, is known for winning multiple world titles, two Royal Rumble victories, and one Money in the Bank win. However, his 2019 Money in the Bank victory came at a crucial point in Mustafa Ali’s career, with Lesnar snatching victory from Ali’s grasp.

Interrupting Mustafa Ali’s Moment

In 2019, 37-year-old free agent Mustafa Ali was on the verge of grabbing the Money in the Bank briefcase when Brock Lesnar’s music suddenly interrupted the moment. As Lesnar emerged with Paul Heyman, he shoved the ladder, causing Ali to fall and land throat-first on the ropes. Lesnar then climbed the ladder and secured the briefcase, winning the match.

Iconic Moment on WWE RAW

The following night on WWE RAW, Brock Lesnar arrived with the briefcase and interrupted Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins. He then showcased his dance moves, pretending that the briefcase was a boombox. Lesnar successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship.

A Piece of Advice for Mustafa Ali

Lesnar recently attacked Cody Rhodes before WWE RAW and took out The American Nightmare in the backstage area. He crushed Cody’s arm with a crate and later appeared during a backstage interview with Mustafa Ali, telling Ali to “get a life kid.” Lesnar issued an open challenge for Night of Champions, where he and Rhodes engaged in a brawl that ended with Lesnar locking Rhodes in a Kimura Lock. The two wrestlers will meet at Night of Champions on May 27.
